Whenever possible we use natural, repurposed or recycled materials

What’s good for the planet is good for animals, so we choose our materials with great care. Whenever possible we use natural, repurposed or recycled materials. We source as locally as possible, whether it’s finding wood in the forest near our studio, or recycled fabrics from around North Holland.

Our nesting homes are produced either with a composite we made from up to 50% local waste, or FSC certified oak.

Each Ucci cat tree is unique, made from trees hand picked in and around Amsterdam.

Our machines are powered by recycled solar panels.

Finally, our packaging is made with waste cardboard, which is why your box might look a bit different.
